MOTEST Commences Training On COVID19 For Stakeholders In All Institutions
School Fees Will Not Be Increased For This Session – MOTEST Commissioner

Kwara State Ministry of Tertiary Education Science and Technology held a meeting and trained the Leaders of Students’ Union in the State-owned and private Institutions.
The student’s representatives from each of the private and state-owned institutions in the state are trained and will later made members of the Covid-19 Technical Committee, in preparation for schools reopening.
The MOTEST commissioner, Hajia Saadatu Madibo Kawu in her speech described the program as a giant step towards school reopening in the state.
The commissioner however implored students of the state-owned institutions to disregard any rumor of increment in their school fees and told them to report any issue of that much to her office, saying the current administration is not out salt to the injury of Kwara citizens. We feel the pain of your parents so the school fees will not be increased for this session commissioner said.
The NANS Kwara chapter president shows dissatisfaction at the inability of ICT departments in the various higher institutions of learning’s in the state, to organize virtual classes for the students during the peak of the Pandemic.
In attendance at the meeting is the Hon. Commissioner and other officials of MOTEST, speakers from UITH and the University, and student representatives of Kwara State Tertiary institutions.
